Come join us at the Duvall Herb Farm and dig into the medicine of roots!
Together we will harvest various seasonal, immune-enhancing roots and make herbal remedies using methods of folk herbalism. Participants will learn how to grow and harvest roots such as Elecampane, Baical Skullcap, Echinacea, and more! We will teach how to process the roots and use them in various ways for immunity and at-the-onset symptoms. We will try different decoctions and remedies, harvest from the field, and make a fresh root tincture. All participants will go home with a tincture and immune enhancing herbal knowledge and know-how.
All levels of experience are welcome! Ages 10-12 are welcome to come with an adult.

*Includes cost of supplies to make tincture to take home, decoctions and remedies during the workshop, a farm tour, and a hands-on experience taught by Rachael and Lindsay.

Camping Chair or something to portable/comfortable to sit on
Snacks and water (we will not be providing any food at the workshop)
