Fall Wild Plant Foraging

As autumn light falls upon the trees and amplifies the golden glow of the plant world, we are reminded of this time of harvest. Plants are beginning to turn their energy back into the Earth; making fruits and seeds for the growing year to come. This is the time to reap what we have sown, to be with the last of the wild abundance, to store what is needed for the winter and strengthen our immune systems.

Join Rachael Witt as she leads us on wild plant harvests and expeditions. In this five session Fall harvesting series, we will learn about the plant identification, ethical harvesting, the energetics of the season as well as wild edibles and medicinals. We will gather, process and bring home harvested plants, recipes and knowledge to prepare ourselves for the change in season.
