Wild Botanicals; Rooted in Immunity Medicine

Wild Botanicals is a series of classes created on the basis of the harvest season in Snoqualmie Valley. Classes are in-person, outside and within the ecosystem of the plant(s). Students will learn botanical ID, look alikes, growth habits and harvesting ethics, plant processing and preparations. We will work with both wild and cultivated plants with edible and/or medicinal uses based on the class theme. Students are encouraged to bring their own in-field medicine making materials to experience the full process of field to kitchen medicine.

ROOTED IN IMMUNITY Medicine

Tis the season of roots and, if weather allows, its also the season of mushrooms! Both of which are strong immunomodulators and immunostimulants – some even more potent as antimicrobials, antifungals and antivirals! Come join us for a wild expedition- harvesting medicine for the strength and immunity. Botanicals may echinacea, elecampane, marshmallow, oregon grape, devils club, ashwagandha as well as mushrooms such as turkey tail, artists conk and more!
